Decades ago a guy would give a girl his letterman jacket or add her to his speed dial when their romance turned serious. Nowadays, we rely on more technological cues. Here's 8 modern signs your relationship might be moving to the next level.
- You give him/ her your Netflix password. This shows you trust your significant other, and you think he/ she will be around for a while.
- You wait to watch a show with them, and vice versa. When you change your TV viewing schedule for your sweetie, that’s a sign you’re committed.
- Your love is on Instagram. Showing off your significant other on Instagram means you’re ready for people to know you’re taken, and everyone knows that’s pretty serious.
- Deleting dating apps. When you reach this relationship milestone, it doesn’t mean you’ve found The One, but it does mean you’ve stopped looking.
- Texting during the day. When your texting relationship evolves from making plans to meet up to sharing random thoughts, things are getting serious.
- Adding their family on social media. When you accept a friend request from your partner’s relatives and besties that means they’ll all be checking out your photos and posts, an indicator your relationship is on the next level.
- You exchange phone passcodes. Sharing your passcode means you completely trust them, even knowing they could snoop through your text messages, photos, etc.
- It's Facebook official. This is another way to make your relationship public, and it’s a good sign things are going well in private.
