Mike's Weekend in 5 Pics 1/27-29

This was a pretty eventful weekend! On Saturday, producer Jenny and I raced to St. Paul and maneuvered through the tricky traffic to find a place to watch the Winter Carnival parade where Dave Ryan and his brass band, Dat Brass Doe, was marching! When we finally found them, we joined the parade and marched along! They were great! (tbh, better than I expected!!)

Following the parade, Jenny and I wandered through Rice Park to check out some of the music and ice sculptures. Obviously we had to stop for a big in the big ice throne!

On Sunday, Falen and I had planned to visit Mora, Minnesota to check out the giant Dala horse which we talked about on the most recent episode of our podcast, Too Lame For Radio (listen to it on iHeartRadio). We brough Tina from our promotions department along with us for company and since we were in the area, we also swung through Rush City to see the "World's Largest Walleye."

After we got back home from our mini-road trip to see some giant fake animals, Falen made dinner for Tina, Raven and me. She made a wedge salad with an herb dressing along with a mushroom pasta with goat cheese. It was delicious! Falen posted the recipes here.
