A new thread on the anonymous Whisper app has folks confessing the real reasons why they think they're single, and some are by choice, but others are simply heartbreaking.
Reasons people are still single include:
- “I’m a selfish lover. I only want love when I feel like it. That’s why I’m single.”
- “I’m gorgeous, intelligent and funny. You ask me why I’m single? Because I’m not skinny.”
- “I’ve been single because my ex cheated on me and I don’t know how to move on.”
- “I think I’m single because I intimidate people. I think I inadvertently make them feel insecure.”
- “I figured out why I’m single. It’s because I’m perfect wife material and guys my age are scared of commitment. Now what do I do?”
- “The biggest reason I stay single is because I have herpes, even though I want to love again.”
- “The only reason I’m single is because I feel like no one ever takes me seriously because I have big boobs.”
- “I stay single because I know I won’t stay alive for long. So why ruin someone’s life.”
- “The only reason I stay single is so I can mess around with multiple guys without being a cheater.”
- “I’m afraid of talking to pretty girls, it’s the reason I stay single.”
