Surprise? Men Have More Free Time Than Women

When it comes to downtime, according to a new UK study. Men devote six hours and nine minutes a day on leisure activity, while women spent five hours and 29 minutes on similar pursuits, the UK’s Office for National Statistics found in research exploring work-life balance based on data from 2015. That’s an extra 40 minutes that men, on average, get to chill compared to women. A recent report on leisure time in America found similar results. It revealed that men spend 44 minutes per day more in leisure activities per day than did women. That’s 5.5 hours, compared with 4.8 hours.
