I have never had this problem, but I have often wondered after being gifted a lottery ticket, that if I were to win, would I need to give some of the winnings to the person who gifted the ticket?
I am now wondering the same thing after A Colorado Uber driver received a scratch ticket as a tip from a passenger that later led to him winning $140,000.
The ticket that he was given only won $30, but after using the winnings to buy more tickets, the driver eventually ended up with the big payday.
So, should he track down the passenger and give him some of the winnings? I mean, I'm sure $1,000 wouldn't hurt him...
