Having just got off 8 of 12 State Fair days... I'm literally on a Sweet Martha's chocolate chip cookie hangoverrrrr! They're just so good. And I really believe people can have addictions to chocolate chip cookies... here's the new research...
Research is suggesting that chocolate chip cookies are addicting. Blame the ingredients. They say sugar can induce cravings and trigger some of the same addictive responses as cocaine. They also say chocolate contains small amounts of a compound that triggers the same parts of your brain as the addictive ingredient in Marijuana, THC.
So while I've never done cocaine or any illegal drug in my life... I believe it because it's so hard to say no to chocolate.
