Last week I got an email from a woman named Elizabeth. She told me her husband's birthday was coming up that weekend and she asked if I'd take him up for a surprise birthday flight. She told me he loves to fly and he actually took lessons years ago but never quite finished his license.
Long story short, she made him keep his head down while she drove him to the airport and while he walked in. The only thing that gave it away was when he walked across a rug that said "Thunderbird Aviation" then he knew.
So up we went! We have a great time! The both got to sit up front for a bit and Tom got to fly a plane for the first time in 20 years.
They thanked me but it was my privilege to take them both up! Thanks you guys!
