Dave's Weekend in 5 Pictures: Homecoming, Flying Scouts and Candy!

It's a time of year when a lot of stuff is happening. For me, that meant Carson's last homecoming game, and doing some fall family traditions. Here's my weekend in five photos!

Carson's in band at school and he loves playing drums. That's his thing. So he got to play the drum set during the halftime show on Friday night. The band sounded great, and he did too. #ProudParentMoment

Saturday I taught eight Boy Scouts Aviation Merit Badge, then took them all up for a flight, along with 17 other Scouts (plus a brother and sister of some of the Scouts). It was so cool to hear these kids get so excited when we took off.  They screamed their excitement into the headsets which was pretty annoying, I'll admit, but totally worth it! This shot is taken over Valleyfair.

Sunday, we went to Deardorff Orchards near Waconia to get pumpkins. Allison wanted a white one and I told Carson that he's now officially the strongest person in the family so he had to do the lifting.

Inside Minnesota's Largest Candy Store. They remodeled it and reworked the rows to get rid of some of the congestion, and they still have all the amazing candy you remember from when you were a kid, plus a bunch more.

And here's my haul from the visit. I'm not much of a sweets person so I mixed it up a little bit.

I hope you had a good weekend too! Thanks for looking at my blog!
