Five Things to Look Forward to in September

Here are a few things to look forward to in September . . .

 

1. In sports: The NFL season kicks off next Thursday with the Chiefs hosting the Lions there's lots of college football too and tennis fans have the U.S. Open through September 10th.

2. In theaters: "The Equalizer 3" is out TODAY.  "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3" comes out September 8th. "The Expendables 4" hits theaters September 22nd. The horror movie "Saw X" will be released September 29th.

And the Roald Dahl adaptation "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar" hits Netflix September 27th.

 

3. The first day of fall will be on September 23rd. If you want to get specific, the Autumn Equinox occurs at 2:50 A.M. Eastern that day.

 

4. A TON of TV shows are back, including "Name That Tune"  "I Can See Your Voice" and "The Masked Singer" on Fox "The Voice" on NBC and "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" on CBS.

There's also the premiere of "American Horror Story: Delicate, Part One" on FX. That's the one with Kim Kardashian. New seasons of "Sex Education" and "Love Is Blind" are back on Netflix. And the latest "Walking Dead" spinoff, "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon", hits AMC on September 10th.

 

5. And finally, the holidays: Monday is Labor Day. Then there's Beer Lovers Day on the 7th Stand Up to Cancer Day on the 8th Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th and the 29th is National Coffee Day.
