Hey KDWB Nation!

It is about the middle of the summer and hopefully your summer love is starting to heat up! With any romance you will need to have memorable dates, and something a little more then cliché dinner and a movie too. Here are my TOP 3 date ideas (places to eat, activities etc…) for you and your special someone…. Please feel free to take the credit for thinking of these too.



Number 3: The Tin Fish on Lake Calhoun

Not only is the food delicious at the Tin Fish the location is gorgeous! I am a huge fan of Uptown and the lakes. Take your date there and walk around, talk and have fun. Not much of a walker, more of a shopper?? Take time to stroll from shop to shop on Lake St. and see some pretty unique locally owned shops. Back to the Tin Fish though, the food is INCREDIBLE! My favorite you ask, the fish tacos for less than $5! Soo good!!!! So for some leisurely quality time the Tin Fish is for YOU.



For you romantics, here is Number 2: A Dozen Roses (with a Twist)

So how do you give a dozen roses to your cutie patootee in a unique creative that shows your faithfulness?? Well…. You don’t. Do this instead, have her/him meet you somewhere like a mall, or a lake, just somewhere with a lot of people! Then you pull out the roses and tell them that you two are doing a little feel good stuff. Explain that you two are going to find random people and give them a rose. Say have a good day or something too. Believe me, it is going to be a little awkward the first person you go up to, but! It will bring nothing but smiles to everyone involved. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! Save the last rose, keep it and when it comes down to that last one, think of something cute to say and give it to that special someone . It will mean so much more after doing this little date idea.

And finally…. Number 1: Time to Picnic

This is a simple and time tested idea. It will take a little time before hand to go out and find that perfect place to set up your picnic. Then when you do finally take your summer love out for the date go above and beyond, no you don’t need to buy 12 once steaks but bring a small radio or ipod. Have KDWB playing in the background while you two talk and spend some relaxing time with each other.
