I think she'll be okay, and continue to be a famous pop/country star...however, if she starts making crappy songs, at least she'll have this to fall back on! (per the ny times)
Critics have often complained that Taylor Swift's lyrics seem as corny as greeting cards. And, apparently, the greeting card industry has come to agree.
The Nashville-based teen star has just inked a deal with American Greetings Corporation to create a line of cards and related products, according to an AP Report.
AGC CEO Zev Weiss said the singer's abilities as a storyteller and songwriter make a good fit for penning cards that will appeal to the broadest possible audience. (One wonders, however, if the company is aware of her penchant for breaking up her inspirational lyrics with nasty ones aimed at boys who've snubbed her).
The Cleveland-based company will begin distributing the star's cards, gift wrap, stationary and on-line greetings starting in the spring.
In a statement, Swift called the opportunity to write and design greeting cards "a wonderful experience."
